An Awareness Rally was organised under the patronage of Principal Dr.Parveen Sharma by the woman sexual Harrassment Cell in collaboration with the N.S.S Dept. and Youth Club on 8 March 2020 to create awareness among the public against sexual abuse to woman . The public motive of the rally was to make the girl students aware of the kind of sexual Harrassment prevalent in society and to sensitize the public for respect and regard to woman. The rally also emphasised that any kind of mental torture to a female on her workplace comes under sexual Harrassment according to law. The students were addressed by the Incharge of cell,Arvind kaur Mand. Prog Officer Daisy Jain and Zia Jamal was Also the part of the event
An Orientation and extension Lecture by the honourable District Comissionor ,Mrs.Madhavi Katria Ji for the general safety of Woman on 20 January 2022 in online mode was Organised by the Woman Safety,Security and Sexual Harrassment Cell under the able patronage of Principal Dr.Balwinder Singh Waraich and leaderdhip of the Incharge of the cell.The motive of the event was to make the girl students aware of the laws of Woman safety and the ways in which the administration works for the security and safety of the females in the district. She Also shared emergency contact Nos. With the students.
